Booking Terms and Conditions

We would be delighted to have you as our guest. Please take a moment to review our hotels booking terms and conditions:

1. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-in time is from 2:00pm onwards, and check-out time is by 10:00am. If you wish to extend your stay, please inquire at the front desk.

2. Reservation and Payment

• All reservations require a valid credit card at the time of booking. Payment for the entire stay will be collected upon check-in.

• Any incidentals or minibar charges will be charged to your credit card on check-out.

3. Age Requirement

• The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. Minors of 16+ must be

accompanied by a responsible adult. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted. (Babies under 12months of course welcome).

4. Smoking Policy

• Hara House is a smoke-free hotel. Smoking and vaping, is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and public spaces. A cleaning fee will be charged

to guests who violate this policy. For guests who chose to smoke please do so on the front lawn at the fountain seating area away from other guests.

5. Pet Policy

• Pets are not allowed on the premises, with the exception of service animals as required by law.

6. Damages and Theft

• Guests will be held responsible for any damages caused to hotel property during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, fixtures, linens, and electronics.

• The hotel is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings or valuables. Please utilise the in-room safe located in the wardrobe.

7. Quiet Hours

• Please respect other guests’ peace and comfort by observing quiet hours between 10:00pm and 8:00am.

8. Guest Behaviour

• Any behaviour that is threatening, abusive, or disruptive to other guests, hotel staff, or the property will not be tolerated. The hotel reserves the right to ask guests engaging in such behaviour to leave the premises without refund.

9. Health and Safety

• Guests must comply with all health and safety regulations outlined by the hotel. This includes following fire safety protocols, using emergency exits responsibly, and reporting any safety concerns to the front desk immediately.

10. Liability

• The hotel is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during your stay on the hotel premises or the use of its facilities. This includes the use of Hara House Bikes used outside the hotel. Guests use all amenities at their own risk.

11. Privacy Policy

• The hotel respects your privacy. Please review our privacy policy available on our website for more information.

12. Licenced Premise

• The hotel is a licenced premise. Please do not BYO alcohol into the hotel’s outdoor spaces during restaurant and bars opening hours.

13. EV Charger

Please let us know if you will be using the EV Charger during your stay. Your Guest account will be charged at the rate of 50c per kWh consumed.

As a guest of Hara House you acknowledge that you have read and understood the above terms and conditions and agree to abide by them during your stay at Hara House. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask our staff for clarification.

Guests are reminded of the Provisions and Limitations of the Inn Keeper’s Liability Act, 1968.
